of you. of the beautiful humans put here on this earth and the moments we make. If there was a higher level I can connect with you all on, I believe it's through photography. It's giving you the moments where you are happiest. It's giving you moments you didn't know happened. The effortless way you grab your child's cheek when they say something adorable. The way you look at the love of your life before you take that next step to forever together. Even the last time you hold grandma's hand. Even in sadness there is beauty. and I look for it. I see it. I'm here for the real.
What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
I'm In LOVE with what I do. What I get to do. I feel grateful every day that I get to do this. I feel like it's so cliche to say, "I grew up with a camera in my hands" but I did. And it wasn't until I had made this my profession that I heard someone say..."you should be doing what your 5 year old self would want to do."
When I was 5, I had a little kodak film camera! The memories all flooded back to me. I took it to school, I took pictures of my friends, flowery bushes, and my bicycle. You know, all the cool things.
I went to school for graphic design because that's what I felt I should do. I can draw, so the practical thing was graphic design. But once I made the choice to do photography everything started coming together.
I get to take pictures! I get to send happiness to you. Repeat. Every single day. I love that. Being intuitive, empathetic, and a lover of human emotion...this has been the perfect place for me...a camera in my hands. Taking photos is a gift. One I give myself and hopefully one I give the world.
Makes me SO happy you stopped by.
